Aaaah Paris. The French capital of love, where we stroll with our hearts pounding along the long avenues of Haussmann-style buildings. Hand in hand, with our bodies embracing every moment and never getting tired of it. Discovering strangers or rediscovering our lover, kissing in front of metro stations, living life in pink under a grey sky. Paris remains one of the most romantic cities there is, described as a capital of love and sex in many travel guides. Love and sex for anyone and everyone, no matter of sex and gender. And no matter what people say about the noise and pollution, too.
A city full of History with a capital H, of Love with a capital L. A city where one passes people dressed up, with a busy facade, who stroll with a hurried step, seeming to run after the passing of time... or maybe they run after love? I surely hope so.
But don't get me wrong: Paris is not just a huge metropolis where there are many people, no. In Paris, there are also places where people can find each other, caress each other's eyes, and cuddle each other's hearts. Perfect places for flirting, for making pretty declarations, getting smiles on our faces and shivers in our bodies. Having lived in here for a few years, today here is my seductive travel guide to Paris. Check my five favourite places to seduce.
You're welcome, it's a gift from me to you.
Quais de Seine: classic walk
Metro Stalingrad (2, 5, 7) or Riquet and Crimée (7)
What could be better than lunch, a dinner or a little aperitif along the Seine for a date? A pretty tablecloth, a good bottle of wine, a bit of cheese, some cold cuts, and you're ready to plunge into each other's eyes while enjoying your small French date. A picnic that might be a precursor to something else, who knows?
The banks of the Seine stretch for 850 meters. From the Pont des Arts to the Louvre, passing by Notre Dame and the Ile Saint-Louis. It's the perfect place to take a little stroll together and finish your lovey-dovey run in one of the many bars around.
Come on, go and borrow a checkered outfit that might look a bit like a tablecloth and invite your lover. Will they get a hint that you are the main dessert? Mmm.. Go and check. Now!
Pigalle: hot and sexy walk
Paris 75018
Metro 2 or 12 – Bus 30, 40, 54
You know the great interest I have in carnal pleasure and toys that make our thangs feel good. Well, let's be clear: I love sex. And I love sex dates. And I have a sex date idea in Paris that works for me. And that's why I chose to tell you about the timeless Pigalle.
Aaaah this inescapable district and its dozens of love stores, in which you can find everything you need to be happy. To make yourself feel good alone, with someone else, with two other people, with twelve, with a hundred even, if you wish. A giant orgy with all your friends? Well, why not! Don't they say that "the more holes you have the more you enjoy"? What do you mean, no?!
Whips for the boldest, handcuffs for the submissive and dominant. But also lubricant (very useful), rabbit for the clit, masturbators and vibrating rings for the penis, condoms (very important), or long hard objects for our tushies. In short, in Pigalle, you can find everything for pleasure and fun, gay or straight, or any kind of LGBT requests can be thought of while in Paris... And at all prices. And this, I buy!
So if you want to spice up your relationship (or your daily single life), don't hesitate for a moment to go for a walk in a love shop. I remind you that there is obviously no shame in entering these stores and that the salesmen and saleswomen are generally very benevolent.
So don't worry: there will be no judgment. They'll give you the best advice to have fun in the sack. Yum yum yum.
Le jardin des Plantes: romantic walk
57, rue Cuvier – 75005
Metro 5 or 10 – Bus 63, 72, 89
Choosing one place for a travel guide to Paris or whole France — my favourite place is this big garden. It is as romantic as can be and that's my idea of a perfect date in Paris. What could be better than strolling hand in hand, the gaze lost in each other's, surrounded by flowers of all colours and scents? Roses, tulips, peonies, lotus, dahlias, there is something for everyone. You can exchange kisses with your crush under one of the big Japanese cherry trees on this date walk in Paris. I've done it before and, trust me, it was one of the most romantic moments of my young serial kisser existence.
You can also smooch languidly on a park bench while enjoying a delicious ice cream from Louise, an artisanal franchise, located in the garden.
And finally, if you want, there is also the beautiful Jardin des Plantes Zoo, where you will see many feathered and furry animals. Yes, that makes me think about sex on a date in Paris once again. It is a nice getaway before you show your own feathers in a bed and end up, in turn: naked like the animals that you are.
Sur un Arbre Perché: poetic walk
1, rue du 4 septembre – 75002
Métros 3, 8 ou 9 – Bus 39
A few wingbeats away from the Opera and the Bourse hides an atypical restaurant, to say the least, where you can spread your wings and send yourself to heaven: Sur un Arbre Perché. Yes indeed. Heavenly date idea in Paris, all yours for taking. The originality of Sur un Arbre Perché? You and your date can dine either seated on swings (so poetic!), or perched in small huts in height. So privacy is assured and you can easily play footsie without anyone seeing you. Hmm, naughty! Ah, and have a delicious meal at the same time. We are here pretending to be a proper travel guide to Paris (no, but yes).
The summer menu is actually particularly tempting. Almost as much as you are! Green asparagus in mimosa, organic poached egg, orange vinaigrette, hay smoked and roasted duck filet, polenta with candied fruits, spinach shoots, salsa verde, or an iced grilled watermelon soup with Thai basil. Date idea with a great taste.
In short, you get it: Sur un Arbre Perché is the ideal place for a dinner for two with your lover. Or even with a newly made match you would like to seduce in Paris now. They will inevitably be conquered by this restaurant AND by your beautiful eyes that shout "NOW". Come on, bon appétit, lovers.
Treasure hunts: original's walk
To be discovered on the websites: tresoraparis.fr or getyourguide.fr
And finally, how could I forget to mention this amazing activity in my Paris guide! The Treasure Hunt. I know, it may sound strange at first but I assure you — having done it myself — it is a MA-GI-CAL experience to do with your date, on a date, in Paris, yes, yes, oui!
Imagine for a moment. You're with your match or crush. You have to work together to solve puzzles, find clues, flush out hidden messages. All of that while enjoying the beauty of the Parisian streets, as a decent guide in Paris will tell you (I am soooo decent, didn't you notice?). What's better than a treasure hunt to strengthen the bonds between two people? Nothing. Well, except the amazing sex on a date, maybe.
This kind of experience — just like an escape game or paintball — is great for getting to know someone on a date. Yes, it is. It's enjoyable, original, and rather healthy. A little adventure for two, where we think of ourselves as detectives or pirates. Where we also get to know each other while having fun. What could be better? Nothing. Well, except the amazing sex on a date in Paris, maybe. Haha. Still.
What if the attraction between you two lovers is getting so strong that you can't resist it? You can get tired of looking for the treasure. So you can always leave the course and hide in some bushes to cuddle or more. Because anyway, the treasure, the real one, the most beautiful one: it's you two. Or three.
So there you go. You have probably noticed one thing in our amazing sexy travel guide: Paris is a city where you can eat well, drink well, walk around, have fun and take it all in. Before taking it in the body, grrr. Because yes, the French capital is a romantic city that makes you feel warm despite the not always high temperature. That allows you to spend an unforgettable moment for two. So let yourself be tempted by the adventure! Above all: love each other damn it! Love yourself better, longer, and harder. Oh yes, always harder!
